The senior Canadian executive hired by president Eiji Toyoda to lead the hiring, training and culture building at Toyota Motor Manufacturing-Canada (TMMC). Under Bill’s leadership as senior vice president, TMMC was the company’s highest quality plant in North America. An expert in teams and small group continuous improvement activities, Bill was instrumental in establishing a highly successful culture of associate involvement and company wide problem solving at TMMC that produces the consistent high quality and cost efficiency that earned TMMC the right to build the first Lexus vehicle in North America.

Bill knows how to guide an organizational transformation to utilize the full human potential of their associates. In addition to his Toyota career, Bill has served as Vice President-School of Business, Conestoga College and consultant to over 20 companies in medical, banking, food, machining, laboratories, heavy equipment, pharmaceuticals and automotive throughout North America and Europe.
